Flight plan

I was reading an introduction to a book book called God loves Single Moms by Teresa Whitehurst and she talked about making God the traffic controller vs the co-pilot of our lives.

This analogy really made sense to me as I have habitually gotten in over my head, tired or impatient and said Jesus you just take over..I can't do this today. It's not about giving up or giving in...it's about checking in with our traffic controller to make sure our flight plan is on course.
When turbulence hits or weather patterns change in life....there is always a safe place to check in and guide us through the storm With prayer God can assist us with changing our flight plan.
